Profile / Experience
I am a Trainee Solicitor at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. I work in the Croydon office under the supervision of Howard Cheng. I work alongside a team of solicitors, trainees and caseworkers specialising in immigration, public law and human rights matters.
The majority of my work involves day-to-day case progression of cases, as well as client or third-party correspondence on a wide range of public law and immigration related matters. These include asylum applications and appeals, fresh claims, deportation appeals, detained client bail applications, human rights applications, trafficking applications and judicial reviews. I also work on private immigration applications.
I have considerable experience of working with vulnerable clients, as well as minors. I am accredited as a Level 2 Senior Caseworker under the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme, which means that I have shown that I have specialist knowledge and experience in the area of Immigration law and can advise and assist publicly funded clients under the company's legal aid contract. I am also DBS enhanced, enabling me to assist minors in their applications.
