Profile / Experience
I am a Caseworker in the Immigration department at Duncan Lewis. I am based in the Harrow office and work alongside solicitors, trainees and caseworkers under the supervision of director Zofia Duszynska.
My role involves assisting the team with the day-to-day case progression and client or third-party correspondence on a number of immigration, asylum and human rights matters.
I assist with a variety of immigration matters from asylum applications and appeals, to judicial reviews in the High Court challenging the Secretary of State for the Home Department's immigration decisions. Additionally, I handle deportation appeals and challenges as well as other entry clearance applications and appeals.
I previously undertook legal advice work and representation, as well as being a charitable director of the Community Advice Programme Ltd in Ealing West London from January 2002-2014 and so I have extensive experience in numerous areas of law and legal work, including drafting documents, common law and statute based research, dispute resolution, negotiation and advocacy within tribunals.
