Profile / Experience
I joined Duncan Lewis in September 2018 as a Caseworker in the Child Care and Family Department. I am based in the firm's Harrow office and work with a team of solicitors, trainees and caseworkers under the supervision of Director, Ravi Kaur Mahey.
I primarily assist with public law proceedings. As such, I am experienced in representing vulnerable clients including those with mental health difficulties, substance abuse issues, and learning difficulties. I also have significant experience in private care cases and finance proceedings and as a result, am equally comfortable dealing with professional clients.
I have previous experience in criminal, immigration and family law, having completed numerous work experience placements within law firms, chambers and in-house legal departments. In addition, I have spent time marshalling in the Family Division of the High Court overseeing extremely complex medical, matrimonial finance and cases with an international element.
In July 2018 I completed my LLM (Law Conversion), undertaking my thesis on the impact of Brexit on international family law.
