Mustaiza Choudary

I am a solicitor in the Housing department at Duncan Lewis, based in the London City office, under the supervision of Bernadette Chikwe.

I have extensive amount of experience with assisting the public with their housing matters mostly under the legal help and legal aid schemes.

I also undertake the role of the duty solicitor at Court assisting with a range of housing possession matters. Since September 2023 I have assisted over 300 clients at court in defending possession proceedings.

My experience in housing covers a wide range of legal housing matters, not limited to:

• Defending possession proceedings (Rent/Mortgage arrears, anti-social behaviour, Disrepair counterclaims, Succession Claims)
