Profile / Experience
I am a Child Care Caseworker based in the Croydon office. I work with a dedicated team of lawyers under the guidance of director Kathy Walker and supervisor Marilyn Edwards.
My work as a caseworker involves assisting the team with the day-to-day case progression and client or third party correspondence on a broad range of child care matters. I work hard to establish a good rapport with all clients and third parties and assist a variety clients, from ethnic minorities and vulnerable individuals, to corporate clients. I am gregarious and a perfectionist and always go the extra mile for both clients and my colleagues. I regularly use my Punjabi language skills to assist clients.
I have expertise in additional areas including family law, private client (including wills, Lasting Power of Attorney, and probate), real estate finance (post-completion), plots, litigation and immigration. This additional experience has proven to be advantageous for me thanks to the vast range of transferable skills I have acquired and now bring to my work within the child care department.
Interests
I share a love for sports. I have a black belt in Shotokan Karate (first dan) which I accomplished at 18.
I am a self confessed gym addict - mainly for fitness, self discipline, releasing stress and general enjoyment.
I used to be a lifeguard for 6 years and held basic fist aid and CPR certification during that time. Swimming is more of a hobby than anything competitive.
I am a die hard GOT (Game of Thrones addict)!
I am Manchester United football fan too!
