Matilda Tenkorang

I am a Solicitor in the Immigration and Public Law team at Duncan Lewis Solicitors' City of London office and I work under the supervision of Director Vilash Gami.

I manage caseload on a variety of immigration and public law matters such as asylum, humanitarian protection, human rights, trafficking, detention, bail, unlawful detention, false imprisonment, appeals and potential judicial review claims.

I have significant experience dealing with vulnerable clients including those in detention, those suffering from complex psychological issues and victims of torture and trafficking. I have a particular specialism in challenging the detention of vulnerable clients and have achieved success securing their release and awards of damages for the client.

I am accredited as a Level 2 Senior Caseworker under the Law Society's Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme.

I am fluent in Italian and Ghanaian.
