Profile / Experience
I am a Caseworker in the Immigration Department at Duncan Lewis. I joined the company in 2017 and I am based in the Croydon office.
I am a part of a dedicated team of solicitors, trainees and caseworkers working under the supervision of immigration director Bernadette Adusei. My role involves assisting the solicitors with the daily case progression and client correspondence on a wide range of immigration, asylum and human rights matters.
I have a particular area of expertise in dealing with asylum matters, assisting with new applications as well as failed applications. I frequently handle deportation matters and appeals and I am currently working towards achieving my Level 1 and 2 Immigration and Asylum accreditation.
I provide legal advice and assistance to both privately funded clients and those funded under the firm's Legal Aid Agency franchise allowing me to give all my clients a voice. I aim to ensure client satisfaction, providing reassuring and realistic advice in a friendly and approachable manner, sensitive to the fact that many of my clients will have been through great difficulties and may be very vulnerable.
