I am a Consultant Solicitor specialising in asylum, immigration and public law.
I undertake a wide range of complex matters and I have an extensive record of successfully representing families and individuals seeking reparation and the right to remain before the Immigration Tribunals, the Administrative Court, and the Court of Appeal.
My clients include victims of torture, persons with mental health difficulties and chronic conditions, victims of trafficking, immigration detainees, and unaccompanied children. I am regularly instructed by and have secured protection for people who have been persecuted by autocratic regimes for their political activities or affiliations, including activists, academics, draft evaders, members of the police and the armed forces, and diplomatic staff.
In parallel with my practice, I am or have been:
- Legal Officer of Rainbow Migration (2019 - 2021), the oldest organisation in Europe supporting exclusively LGBTQI+ people through the asylum and immigration system;
- Trainer for the Immigration Law Practitioners’ Association (since 2020);
- Member of Refugee Legal Support’s Executive Committee (2018 - 2019), a group of lawyers running the organisation and overseeing its operations in Greece;
- Member of the Duncan Lewis Pro Bono Committee (2017 - 2019).
I am fluent in Greek and have intermediate knowledge of French.
