Profile / Experience
I am a Caseworker in the Public Law Department at Duncan Lewis having joined in October 2017. I currently work under the direct supervision of Public Law Director and solicitor Ahmed Aydeed.
Since joining the firm I have assisted on a variety of Judicial Review matters, including challenges to decisions of the Secretary of State for the Home Department to unlawfully detain and remove claimants.
I have also assisted in cases being heard before the Upper Tribunal, High Court and Court of Appeal. These have included cases involving victims of torture and false imprisonment claims. In addition I have worked on a number of human rights act claims and discrimination cases.
I have recently passed the Immigration and Asylum Probation Accreditation Scheme MCT exam.
