Profile / Experience
I am a Solicitor in the Family and Child Care department at the Dalston office of Duncan Lewis Solicitors.
I joined Duncan Lewis in June 2015 as a caseworker and commenced my training contract with the firm in December 2016. For my three seats I undertook work in child care law, family law, and international law. I was admitted as a solicitor on 15 February 2019.
My caseload consists of dealing with matters that include private law children, child protection matters, care proceedings, adoption, discharge of care orders, inherent jurisdiction, divorce, ancillary relief, transfer of tenancy, and domestic violence. I represent clients at court and undertake my own advocacy for most matters. I represent clients during initial hearings, directions hearings, fact finding hearings, as well as final hearings.
I have over four years' experience in dealing with child care and family law matters. I am committed to representing vulnerable clients and work hard to ensure the best possible outcome for them.
I regularly volunteer as one of the family law advisers at our pro bono sessions on Tuesdays and also provide pro bono advice through domestic violence agencies such as Solace Women's Aid.
I am fluent in Albanian.
