Profile / Experience
I am a Duty Solicitor within the Crime Department at Duncan Lewis. I joined the firm in October 2018 and am based in the Harrow office where I work with a team of solicitors, trainees and caseworkers alongside Director Nicholas De Freitas.
I was admitted as a solicitor in 2008 and have a broad criminal defence practice, covering a wide range of criminal defence matters. I have a particular interest in undertaking complex cases that many others would not consider taking on. I am a part of the inquiry team at Duncan Lewis that is representing a number of core participants in the Grenfell Tower Inquiry. I am police station accredited, which means I am an accredited member of the Law Society's police station representative accreditation scheme. This enables me to attend police stations to advise and assist people who would otherwise have no legal representation.
I have lived and worked abroad in both India and Ghana. In Ghana I worked with the National Crime Agency at the High Commission. Whilst in Delhi, India, I carried out pro bono legal work with a NGO. I was also chair of the High Commission Charity Fund.
I speak conversational Indonesian and French.
