Profile / Experience
I am a Caseworker in the Immigration Department, having joined the firm's Luton office in July 2020. I work alongside a team caseworkers, trainees and solicitors under the close supervision of Bahar Ata.
I assist the team with the progression of cases involving immigration, asylum, human rights and judicial review. I am currently working towards my MCT exam.
Prior to joining Duncan Lewis I worked at the Amsterdam Law Clinic to provide pro bono legal research to NGOs seeking advice on the developing area of tortious corporate liability for extra-territorial wrongs related to international human rights law. In addition, at the Cambridge Pro Bono Project, I provided pro bono legal research on the possibility of remedies against companies for instances of modern slavery in their supply chains, and quasi-legal methods of accountability under the OECD Guidelines and the UNGPs.
