I joined Duncan Lewis in March 2025. I assist the Court of Protection team with property and finance cases under the supervision of Director Philippa Barton. I am based in the City of London and Dalston offices.
My work includes:
- preparing applications to the Court of Protection to appoint property and affairs deputies,
- managing funds for vulnerable clients,
- advising on Personal Injury trusts,
- applying for grants of probate and administering estates,
- drafting wills and
- setting up Lasting Powers of Attorney.
I am a keen and empathetic volunteer at Citizens Advice, with experience as a Client Support Assistant. I am currently in training to become a Gateway Assessor, which involves assessing clients' problems and their possible next steps.
I graduated from the University of Manchester in July 2024 with a first class degree in Law with International Study, spending my study abroad year at Charles University in Prague. During my time at university, I enjoyed participating in numerous volunteer projects with the Legal Advice Centre and the Pro Bono Society, gaining valuable experiences while helping those in need.
