Profile / Experience
I am a Caseworker in the Immigration department in the City of London office. I work under the supervision of Public Law and Immigration Solicitor Ben Cartwright; and Immigration Director, Vilash Gami. I assist with clients on a wide range of matters, including clients in immigration detention centres and prisons.
I have previously undertaken legal and voluntary work, including two years with Bail for Immigration Detainees (BID) where I was qualified under the IAA, working on pro-bono immigration bail, deportation matters, ECF Legal aid applications and assisting with setting up strategic projects including on the EU Settlement Scheme; and over a year with Voices in Exile, working on general immigration casework.
I have also assisted with legal research for Lawyers without Borders on property seizure in conflict zones.
