Job Description:
We are seeking dedicated and experienced Legal Content Writer who will ‘hit the ground running’.
As the Content writer you will be required to support the Head of Marketing and Practice Manager in writing legal content for the company website and promotional material.
The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic and fast-paced Marketing team and deal with all day-to-day marketing and PR related matters. The candidate will be required to work with management to drive the company towards meeting its business objectives. The company is embarking on a growth by increasing its client base and specialist marketing support will be essential for the next phase of its development.

Main Responsibilities of the Role
  • Research, commission, write and edit articles for the website.
  • Edit and maintain daily content uploads on the website, whilst also updating and modifying old articles. Strong understanding of SEO and basic HTML coding.
  • Develop and maintain plan for organisation’s internal and external presence, based on management priorities, policy directions, and goals.
  • Ownership of updating and editing staff profiles.
  • Keep up to date with the latest changes in the areas of law covered.
  • Assistance with legal directory and lead on drafting award submissions.
  • Drafting press releases and liaising with journalists.
  • Maintain and update advertisements/ create new ads alongside design team.
  • Managing and producing marketing literature.
  • Interact daily on social media platforms, create content and manage social media calendar.
  • Able to communicate with colleagues at all levels of seniority. Play a key influencing role with directors regarding marketing issues and projects, and take a lead role in executing new ideas and existing initiatives.
  • Provide metrics of traffic statistics, reports and blog comment feedback to appropriate areas.
  • Collaborate with design team to insure cohesiveness between articles and website.
  • Providing support to the company’s established events, charity and pro bono committees.

*The role will involve some occasional travel to other offices in and out of London.

Key Skills Required:
  • Educated to degree level with experience within professional services (preferably 1-2 years marketing experience within a law firm).
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritise work effectively and meet deadlines under pressure.
  • Highly motivated and ability to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Confident using IT software.
