I am a Caseworker in the Family/Child Care department at Duncan Lewis, based in the firm's City of London and Dalston office. I work under the supervision of Director Forida Hakim, providing support in a range of private family/children law matters, including cases concerning care proceedings and those involving domestic abuse.
Prior to joining the firm, I worked pro bono on asylum and immigration cases at the SOAS detention law clinic, a university-run charity in partnership with Wilson Solicitors. In this role, I supported individuals in immigration detention and liaised with legal representatives with a strong focus on protecting vulnerable clients.
