I am a Caseworker in the Immigration Department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors under the supervision of Rajni Chodha and Director Gergana Pentcheva. I have worked at Duncan Lewis since March 2022 and am currently accredited as a Trainee Casework Assistant by the Law Society under the Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme.
My role primarily consists of supporting solicitors and the team with their day-to-day casework involving Immigration and asylum matters. I have experience in both privately and publicly funded matters including protection claims, human rights claims, further leave to remain applications and domestic violence. I have experience of assisting in judicial review pre-action protocol matters and appeals, as well as assisting the most vulnerable such as those in immigration detention, victims of torture and trafficking.
I am passionate about protecting the human rights of the most vulnerable in society and am in the process of becoming a Senior Caseworker under the Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme, which will enable me to further expand my casework duties.
I am fluent in English and Pothwari.
