The Guardian reports on how the deportation of countless asylum seekers who arrived in the UK on small boats could be halted after a judge ruled that the Home Secretary was departing from her own policy on identifying victims of human trafficking. Public law solicitor Maria Thomas comments; “This judgment is extremely important for those at risk of unlawful detention and removal in the coming weeks and months.”
