Profile / Experience
I am a Caseworker in the Action Against Public Authorities Department. I am based in the Dalston office where I work under the supervision of director Graeme Rothwell. My aim is to hold public authorities accountable when they breach their legal duties and to assist clients who find themselves in intimidating and vulnerable situations.
I assist on a variety of matters relating to actions against public authorities. My work is to act for clients who seek to bring complaints and claims against the police, prison and detention services, as well as handling inquests for deaths in custody and elsewhere.
I am a law graduate from SOAS University of London where I developed a rich knowledge in the human rights field. I have previous experience of volunteering in the pro bono legal sector which involved assisting litigants in person facing court proceedings without legal representation and taking instructions from clients in welfare benefit claims.
