I am a Caseworker in the Family department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. I work under the supervision of director Emily Wright and am based at the City of London Office. I have gained experience in a wide variety of complex and multi-faceted family cases since I joined the company in October 2020.
I am an experienced family law paralegal in both private and public law matters. I have unique previous experience working in a Fertility Law firm in Toronto, Canada assisting clients engaging in international surrogacy journeys. My previous work has instilled a compassion for families in whatever form they take which I have transferred into my role here at Duncan Lewis.
I represent parents in private children disputes, including, Child Arrangement Orders, Specific Issue Orders and Prohibited Steps Orders. I am passionate about representing clients from all backgrounds who find themselves in need of legal advice and representation. I have experience in complex matters including domestic abuse, involvement of CAFCASS and appointment of a Rule 16.4 Children Guardian.
I have particular experience in representing victims of domestic abuse in applications for Non-Molestation Orders and Occupation Orders.
My work also includes assisting in representing parents in respect of Care and Supervision Orders and acting for parents in pre-proceedings under the Public Law Outline.
