I am a Paralegal in the Actions Against Public Authorities Department in Newcastle.
As I have just joined the firm, the work I have undertaken so far is assisting my Supervisor Courtney Smith with her cases. These range from complaints and civil claims against various public bodies including police forces, the Home Office, the Ministry of Justice, local authorities and public bodies. Further to this, I am set to look at new enquiries where I will begin to build my own caseload.
I am set to assist a wide variety of clients, many of whom are vulnerable. I will also gain experience in handling both publicly funded and private matters.
