Gina Sarfo

I am a Solicitor in the Immigration Department at Duncan Lewis. I joined Duncan Lewis in August 2016 after successfully completing a work placement. I work under the supervision of director Gergana Pentcheva

Since joining the Immigration team, I have gained experience in a variety of complex and challenging cases especially those involving vulnerable clients such as minors, clients suffering from mental health illnesses and victims of trafficking.

I have also assisted clients with Judicial Review claims challenging the Secretary of State's unlawful refusal to accept further submissions as a fresh claim, asylum delay cases and also judicial review challenges in Domestic Violence cases.

Further, I am extremely enthusiastic about Pro-Bono work, which I was actively involved in whilst completing my LLB Honours and Legal Practice Course. I gained invaluable experience working in areas such as Immigration, Family, Property, Employment, Landlord and Tenant disputes as well as Welfare Benefits law. I am committed to furthering the good work I started and will be aiming to join the Pro-Bono team here at Duncan Lewis immediately.
