I am a Consultant Solicitor in the Prison Law Department at Duncan Lewis. I am committed to ensuring that all prisoners are provided with access to justice and the opportunity to progress through the prison system. I assist with all areas of Prison Law, including issues concerning:

• Errors in sentencing calculation;
• Advocacy before the Parole Board;
• Advocacy before the Independent Adjudicator;
• Re-categorisation of prisoners;
• Segregation of prisoners; and
• Transfer of prisoners to other prison establishments.

I have also assisted prisoners in Appeal and Review matters and on many occasions, I have successfully appealed their convictions and/or sentences at the Court of Appeal which led to their early release from custody. Prior to joining the Prison Law department at Duncan Lewis, I worked briefly as an Immigration Solicitor where I regularly represented individuals seeking to make initial claims for asylum, in addition to conducting appeals against adverse decisions to the First-Tier / Upper Tribunal. I hold a Master Degree from the University of Warwick in Law in Development.
