Profile / Experience
I am a Caseworker in the Immigration department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. I joined the Harrow office in December 2019 where I work alongside a team of solicitors, trainees and caseworkers under the supervision of director Zofia Duszynska.
My role involves assisting the team with the case management of both publicly (legal aid) and privately funded immigration matters. I prepare documents and take client and third party correspondence on a variety of immigration, asylum and human rights cases. Prior to joining the firm I completed the internship programme at Duncan Lewis, during this time I gained extensive experience in matters relating to asylum and immigration.
I am committed to providing access to justice and assisting the most vulnerable in society. Previously, I have taken part in a variety of pro bono programmes including, the Lambeth County Court Runner Scheme, The University of Law Legal Advice Centre and at Toynbee Hall, as an initial assessment volunteer. This has provided me with valuable experience and develop a number of transferable skills that I utilise in my role as a caseworker.
