I am a Caseworker in the Family department working under Director Forida Hakim who specialise in public law, care proceedings and private law proceedings. I am based in the company's Dalston office.
I regularly assist and advice clients on a range of family matters including: domestic abuse, private and public childcare matters, occupation orders, transfer of tenancies, and divorce.
I represent clients from all backgrounds, many of whom are vulnerable and in the United Kingdom on a spouse visa. I have experience in applying for DDV Concessions for vulnerable victims and assisting them in securing a place at a refuge when fleeing from domestic violence.
I deal with both private and publicly funded (legal aid) clients, and regularly assist clients in obtaining legal aid (where eligible) to fund their cases.
I am proficient in speaking and reading Bangla and I can also speak Urdu and Hindi fluently.
I available to take instructions from clients both over the phone and in-person, depending on what is best suited to their needs.
