Profile / Experience
I am a Solicitor in the Immigration and Public Law Immigration Department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. I am based in the firm's Croydon office where I supervise a team of caseworkers who are committed to immigration matters.
I have extensive experience handling a range of immigration, asylum and human rights matters, this includes cases involving detained and non-detained asylum seekers, unaccompanied asylum seeking children, EU regulations, domestic violence, human rights - including private and family life - and judicial review matters such as unlawful detention, removal on asylum and human rights grounds.
I frequently appear before the First-tier and Upper Tribunal. I had recent success in challenging the Secretary of State's delay in making a decision on unaccompanied asylum seeking children asylum applications.
I am qualified under the Law Society’s immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme as a Level 2 Caseworker and Supervisor. This enables me to advise and assist vulnerable clients.
