Emma Hamilton

I am a Director at Duncan Lewis, and I receive instructions in both Family and Child Care matters.

I am passionate about ensuring vulnerable clients are protected and their voices heard.

My practice covers both private and public children matters, and I have acted for both Mothers and Fathers in disputes over child arrangements.

I am instructed by mothers, fathers and grandparents in care proceedings where the Local Authority has sought Care/Supervision Orders in respect of children. I am also instructed in pre-proceeding matters under the Public Law Outline.

Working closely with the Family Justice Centre and Women's Aid, I assist victims of domestic abuse.

I have also acted for those accused of domestic abuse.

I am a confident advocate and undertake advocacy on behalf of clients in the courtroom.

Clients describe me as empathetic and understanding of their individual needs. I am committed to supporting my clients throughout each stage of their case, ensuring they achieve the best possible outcome for themselves and their family.
