I am a Solicitor in the Family and Child Care department based in the Luton office. I joined the firm in December 2020, following the completion of my postgraduate degree. I work alongside a team of caseworkers, trainees and solicitors, under the supervision of Director, Krina Parmar.
I have extensive experience assisting, advising and representing parents within care proceedings, including where there are concerns surrounding domestic abuse, substance misuse and mental health concerns. I have also gained experience representing parents within the Public Law Outline (PLO) process and I advise and assist parents in an attempt to avoid the commencement of court proceedings.
I have assisted vulnerable victims to obtain protective orders, such as a Non-Molestation Order. I also represent clients within Private Children Law proceedings, for example, assisting clients to obtain a Child Arrangements Order, Prohibited Steps Order or Specific Issue Order.
My previous employment was in the private client sector where I gained invaluable experience and skills. In particular, I understand the importance of communicating with clients in an empathetic, yet professional manner, as most matters are sensitive in nature.
