Profile / Experience
I am a Caseworker in the Public Law Department based in the Manchester office. I am working under the supervision of Hannah Baynes and Director Toufique Hossain.
Before joining Duncan Lewis, I worked as a Welfare Benefits Paralegal at the Speakeasy Law Centre, assisting Clients with challenging their benefits decisions. I was previously a Director at the LGBTQ+ Law Clinic and a volunteer at Manchester Refugee Support Network. These experiences have provided me with the experience to help marginalised communities within Britain.
I have a background in LGBTQ+ specific issues due to my work with the LGBTQ+ Law Clinic, and wrote my Master's dissertation on transgender individuals in Iran.
I am fluent in Farsi and will be able to assist with Farsi-speaking clients.
