Profile / Experience
I am a Solicitor in the Family and Child Care Department at Duncan Lewis. I work with Director, Emine Mehmet.
As a Solicitor, I specialise in public law children matters. I represent parents, grandparents and extended family members in a wide range of matters. I have considerable experience representing parties in care and supervision proceedings where the concerns relate to domestic violence, neglect, drugs and alcohol misuse. I also represent vulnerable individuals with mental illnesses and learning difficulties. I also have extensive experience in domestic violence work. I represent individuals on applications for protective non-molestation orders and occupation orders, as well as transfer of tenancy orders.
Moreover, I deal with private children law matters. These include live with orders, contact orders, prohibited steps orders, specific issue orders and declaration of parentage orders.
In addition to my work, I volunteer to help the most vulnerable members of society. I attend legal clinics and advise individuals with their legal issues.
I am fluent in Turkish and able to assist Turkish speaking clients.
