Profile / Experience
I am a Caseworker in the Child Care Department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors, based in the Luton office. I assist solicitors with matters relating to family, child custody and child adoption. I work under the direct supervision of Director Sophie Burchett.
Prior to joining, I worked for two years as a Family Lawyer within the Luxembourgish legal system, where I supported families and children in a wide range of matters, including divorce, child custody and protection proceedings, as well as related financial issues. Through this role, I developed extensive experience in family law and regularly supported vulnerable individuals during some of the most challenging periods of their lives.
At Duncan Lewis Solicitors, I help with attending to clients, drafting legal documents, and preparing case files. I also deal with correspondence and assist clients with Legal Aid applications to help ensure access to justice for all.
I am also a trained Mediator, having completed my foundation training in December 2025. This further strengthens my ability to support families in resolving disputes constructively and amicably. I am able to encourage constructive dialogue and support families in exploring non-contentious resolutions to disputes relating to children and family arrangements.
I am fluent in English, French, German and Luxembourgish, both written and spoken, and am able to assist clients in all four languages, helping to reduce language barriers within the English legal system.
