Duncan Lewis Solicitors are pleased to announce the recent appointment of Tamana Aziz as a Director of Immigration. She is also based in Harrow and she will work alongside Vicash Ramkissoon, Zofia Duszynska, Neelam Bangar and Rohena Wallace in leading our Harrow based Immigration team.
Tamana has over ten years’ experience in Immigration. She has joined Duncan Lewis Solicitors’ Immigration department from Lawrence Lupin Solicitors, to lead and supervise on a range of immigration matters including business immigration under the points based system, representing individual clients and businesses; advising employers on the Home Office’s Prevention of Illegal Working regime; Tier 2 and Tier 4 suspension judicial review claimant matters; and providing representation at the Immigration Asylum Chamber and Higher Courts.
Tamana is fluent in Dari, Farsi, Urdu, Hindi and Pashto, enabling her to be instructed by a wide-range of clients in a multitude of immigration matters. She provides advocacy before First-Tier and Upper Tribunals, as well as attending detention centres and duty advice surgeries. Tamana advises high net worth and skilled individuals on extending Tier 2 (General) visas, spousal applications, applications for settlement and British Citizenship, with particular expertise assisting clients with immigration applications under EU law. She also has particular expertise in dealing with complex appeals including deportation appeals and country guidance cases.
