Profile / Experience
I am a Solicitor in the Immigration department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors and I am based in the Harrow office. I joined Duncan Lewis in 2016 and qualified in 2019 after completing seats in the immigration, public law, and civil liberties and human rights departments.
I handle a variety of immigration matters and regularly represent those with asylum and human rights claims. I am experienced in bringing judicial review claims and civil actions against the state for unlawful detention and human rights breaches. I have significant experience assisting vulnerable clients, including those held in immigration detention, victims of sex trafficking, and modern slavery. I also assist those who suffer from complex psychological issues, and victims of both torture and human trafficking. I have a particular specialism in challenging the detention of clients and have achieved multiple successes securing release and damages.
I am accredited as Level 2 Senior Caseworker under the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme.
I speak Farsi fluently.
