Profile / Experience
I am a caseworker in the public law department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors and based in company’s Harrow office.
My role involves assisting a team of solicitors (led by solicitor Lewis Kett and public law director Toufique Hossain) with immigration and civil liberties judicial review applications, civil liberty related inquiries, international protection cases and immigration matters.
I have experience with handling public inquiry work having previously worked as a paralegal at the Infected Blood Inquiry. I am currently working on the initial stages of the Brook House Inquiry, the public inquiry into the alleged abuse of detained foreign nationals at Brook House immigration detention centre; the first inquiry of its kind.
Previously, I volunteered at North Kensington Law Centre, where I assisted on a wide range of legal matters, including working with survivors of the Grenfell Tower Fire.
