Sophie Rayment has completed the Level 2 qualification in Understanding Autism. Sophie is passionate about protecting the rights of neurodivergent children and parents within the Court arena.

Sophie has professional experience in representing parents who are neurodivergent and is able to adapt her approach to best meet their needs. She is committed to ensuring that these needs are not overlooked within the proceedings. Sophie regularly represents parents who are neurodivergent in Care Proceedings, private children law matters and injunctive relief.

Sophie is regularly instructed by the official solicitor in Family and Childcare matters. Sophie believes she has strong clear and direct communication skills that she has adapted over the years to assist her in working with neurodivergent parents. She appreciates the importance of using plan language, concise sentences and avoiding ambiguity to assist neurodivergent parents understand instructions and expectations within Court Proceedings.
