I am a Consultant Solicitor at Duncan Lewis I represent clients regarding several areas of Social Security law regarding welfare benefits appeals at the First Tier and Upper Tier Tribunal. I mainly specialize in medical related benefit cases regarding Employment & Support Allowance Appeals and Personal Independence Payments. I have experience in child and young adults appeals and claims for Disability Living Allowance and also over 65 years claims and appeals for Attendance Allowance. I can also represent clients at their medical assessments and on appeal cases where it is alleged the client failed to attend with good reason.
I also represent clients at interviews under caution at the Jobcentre or Local Authority offices regarding allegations of benefit fraud. These cases also can turn into appeals regarding an overpayment of benefits which can also be appealed to the First Tier Tribunal. I also have experience with Housing Benefit appeals and Tax Credits appeals and various other benefit appeals.
I have been specialising in welfare benefits appeal cases for the last 12 years and I will be 10 years PQE (Post Qualification Experience ) in July 2018.
I have a strong record of successful appeal cases with many clients returning should they require legal assistance again in the future.
