I am a Chartered Legal Executive at Duncan Lewis, specialising in Family and Childcare.
I advise and represent clients across a broad range of areas within family law, including; divorce, financial disputes arising from marriage breakdown, co-habitation disputes, applications under Schedule One of the Children Act 1989, domestic abuse and private law children relating to contact, residence and Prohibited Steps issues. I deal with cases involving complex issues such as drug and alcohol issues, domestic violence, neglect, non-accidental injuries, physical and/or sexual abuse, mental health issues.
I have extensive experience advising and representing parents, grandparents and other family members within Public Law Children cases where social services are involved and/or care proceedings have been issued. I have significant experience dealing with vulnerable members of society, including clients with mental health issues and learning difficulties and I have been instructed by the Official Solicitor in relation to such clients. I also represent clients whose first language is not English.
I regularly advise clients at Pro Bono clinics and surgeries.
Where possible I will conduct my own advocacy and I do my utmost to obtain the best possible outcome for each and every client.
