Profile / Experience
I am a Caseworker in the Housing department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors, under the supervision of housing director, Bernadette Chikwe in the City of London office.
My area of work primarily involves working with publicly funded legal aid clients, where I take instruction directly from clients or third-party referrals, such as caseworkers or support workers. I assist with the day-to-day case progression and correspondence of matters. I have a varied client bases acting in a wide range of housing issues including homelessness, evictions and possession proceedings, disrepair and harassment, and landlord and tenant disputes.
I have experience taking instruction from clients at my university's pro-bono clinic. I have assisted in various social housing cases including advising clients, conducting witness statements and attending litigation proceedings.
I am also fluent in Twi (Ghanaian), an asset to broadening our scope of clients.
