Profile / Experience
I am a solicitor in the Family department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors.
I qualified in 1996 and have been specialising in family law ever since. I gained experience and expertise across all areas of family law and carry out my own court hearings on a regular basis. I currently focus primarily on private law children matters and the resolution of financial claims on family breakdown.
My focus is on my clients' individual circumstances and how to achieve the best outcome possible in the circumstances of the case. I believe in helping clients to retain their hope for their futures during what is usually a very stressful time. I assist clients of all abilities and circumstance, including those who are vulnerable.
I briefly worked in the Official Solicitors Office again working on family matters for vulnerable clients without legal capacity.
I was the instructing solicitor in the matter of Mubarak and Mubarak, a bitter long running ancillary relief case. The wife was seeking to enforce a lump sum order and it was alleged that husband had created a Jersey Trust that excluded the wife. The terms of the trust prevented any information being obtained.
