I am a Trainee Solicitor in the Public Law department at Duncan Lewis Solicitors. work with a team of solicitors, trainees and caseworkers under the supervision of public law director Toufique Hossain.
My role involves day-to-day work on a number of public law cases. This includes asylum, immigration, and human rights matters.
Prior to joining Duncan Lewis, I spent nearly ten years in the not-for-profit sector as a communications specialist. I worked on media strategy and campaigning in relation to human rights issues such as unlawful detention, the death penalty, gender-based violence, and refugee rights. I have also worked in commercial PR, and in Parliament.
