I am a Solicitor in the Immigration Department of Duncan Lewis. I have over 10 years experience in legal practice and my specialism is in Immigration and Nationality Law.
I have dealt with a substantial quantity of immigration matters concerning Nationality Law, European Economic Area (EEA) citizens and their family members, asylum (including detained clients), Entry Clearance applications, naturalisation and settlement applications, domestic violence applications and Human Rights applications (Articles 2, 3 and 8). I also assist clients in Dublin III Regulation matters and bail applications.
I have extensive experience in advocacy, representing clients at their appeal hearings at the First Tier Tribunal and the Upper Tribunal of the Immigration Asylum Chamber and working with counsel in preparation for hearings at the Court of Appeal.
I represent both private and legally aided clients. I have assisted many vulnerable members of the public such as children, disabled adults, clients with mental and medical difficulties, detained persons and also victims of trafficking, torture and domestic violence.
I am fluent in Polish (mother-tongue), Italian and Spanish. I also have intermediate knowledge of Portuguese and French. I apply my linguistic skills to assist a broader spectrum of clients and speak where possible to clients in their native language.
