I am a solicitor, with extensive experience in Immigration, Asylum, Nationality and Public Law. I am Level 2 accredited, with supervisory status under the IAAS Law Society Accreditation Scheme, to provide advice and representation in Immigration and Asylum cases.
My cases vary from complex Immigration and Asylum cases, Judicial Review to Advocacy work in the First-tier and Upper Tribunals. I have a strong foundation in Advocacy work. I am also a skilled litigator in Public law cases in the High Court and Court of Appeal. I was a conjoined solicitor in the lead case to third country removals to Italy, Tabrizagh & Others v Secretary of State for the Home Department , a case that was litigated in the High Court and Court of Appeal.
I have worked on a Supreme Court case making my litigation experience varied in the UK's judicial ladder. I am astute to details and have the ultimate 'can do' attitude to law.
I have a surgical approach to delivering legal services. I have always devoted my legal work to achieving the best possible outcome for my clients. I work with integrity, with a focus on high standards and client care. I have lectured in the private sector as well as undertaken voluntary work with the Citizens' Advice Bureau. These roles equipped me with an innate ability to listen to clients and aptly manage expectations.
Mr. Murati commented after winning his case in the Upper Tribunal and the Court of Appeal, "thank you Ahmed, you are a relentless and effective fighter. You never made me think for a minute that the outcome was anything but good. Thank you it made all the difference."
