Profile / Experience
I am a Solicitor in the Immigration Department at Duncan Lewis. I joined in February 2011.
I have a vast knowledge of all immigration, asylum and human rights matters. I primarily deal with challenging clients removal directions either by way of Judicial Review or through appeals at the First-Tier and Upper Tier Tribunal of the Immigration Asylum Chamber. In addition I assist clients with their asylum claims in the UK.
Many of my clients are vulnerable, often victims of torture or trafficking. I frequently represent detained clients, many of whom are vulnerable, and have experience in drafting their representations to the Home Office.
I am qualified under the Law Society's Immigration & Asylum Accreditation Scheme (Level 2), this means I have demonstrated the desired level of knowledge and experience in this area of law as required by the Law Society.
