I am a Solicitor in the Immigration Department at Duncan Lewis.
I specialise in asylum, detained asylum casework and immigration detention matters. I frequently deal with a variety of Judicial Review matters, including challenges to decisions of the Secretary of State for the Home Department to unlawfully detain and remove Claimants.
I have significant experience dealing with vulnerable clients including those in detention, those suffering from psychological issues and victims of torture and trafficking. I also have experience in challenging the detention of vulnerable clients and have achieved success in securing their release.
I am an accredited Level 2 Senior Caseworker under the Law Society’s Immigration and Asylum Accreditation Scheme, which means I have demonstrated the required level of competence and specialist knowledge in Immigration and Asylum Law as defined by the Law Society and enables me to advise and assist publicly funded clients. I am committed to public funded work and representing the less fortunate members of society.
