Arvin went to Bancrofts School in Woodford Green and graduated from Keele University with a dual honours Law degree with a degree in Human Resource Management. Arvin then worked as a Barristers clerk at chambers in Middle Temple and Lincolns Inn. He then went on to do his Post Graduate Legal Practice Course at The College of Law in London.

Arvin started working for Duncan Lewis in 2005; he has progressed through the ranks from Paralegal to Trainee Solicitor to Assistant Solicitor to Supervisor. Arvin is now the Joint Head of Department of the firms Welfare Benefits Department. Arvin currently supervises a team of Trainee Solicitors and Paralegals.

Arvin specialises in all areas of Social Security Law and has a wide experience with First Tier and Upper Tier Tribunal Appeals, regarding all means and non-means tested benefits. Arvin has extensive experience of assisting disabled adults and children who have been refused Disability Living Allowance. Arvin also attends regular meetings with the Social Security Law Practitioners Association and has also worked with various local Asian and Ethnic Minority Community Groups.

Arvin also specialises in Criminal Defence Law with regard to specialist cases concerning allegations of Benefit Fraud and Obtaining Property by Deception. Arvin represents clients at interviews under caution, Magistrates courts and runs cases at Crown Court level. Arvin has handled several high value cases. His most recent Crown Court Case involved an alleged loss of funds of approximately £1.5 Million.

Arvin has travelled all round the world to America, Canada, Sri Lanka, Africa, China, Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. In his spare time Arvin practices martial arts and was the karate team captain at his university. Arvin is also a keen automobile enthusiast (specifically, German and Italian sports cars).

Arvin has seen Duncan Lewis grow throughout his career and is on the firms Marketing Committee representing the Social Welfare Departments.
