Duncan Lewis Solicitors is very pleased to announce the recent internal appointment of Ahmed Aydeed as Director of Public Law. He will oversee the company’s Public Law Judicial Review Claimant practice in Birmingham, Leicester & Milton Keynes.

Ahmed Aydeed qualified in 2015 and has extensive experience in all types of immigration and judicial review claimant matters, from initial applications through to appeals at the tribunal and at the higher courts. He worked for a specialist Immigration law firm prior to joining Duncan Lewis and is known to have a very high success rate. Ahmed specialises in complex entry clearance applications and has been involved in numerous appeal cases involving family members before the IAC (Immigration Asylum Chamber) and judicial review applications on behalf of private clients.

Ahmed has been at the forefront in the battle against the unlawful detention of migrants in the UK, the unlawful processions of asylum claims in the UK through the Detained Fast Track system and, in particular, the plight of trafficking victims & unaccompanied minor refugees. Ahmed has very quickly and impressively moved through the gears at Duncan Lewis because of his unwavering commitment to Legal Aid work.
