Ex-Partner and Solicitor’s return to Duncan Lewis (5 September 2011)

With over 400 employees, Duncan Lewis expects some level of staff turnover. It is reassuring to know that Duncan Lewis are doing something right as we are proud to welcome back former Mental Health Partner, Fatima Boujettif to Duncan Lewis as a Mental Health Consultant to our New Cross Gate office. Fatima has over 10 year’s experience of practising Mental Health law and has been a member of the Law Society’s Mental Health Review Tribunal since 2001. Fatima is also a Criminal Duty solicitor and has been representing clients at police stations and courts since 2005.

Duncan Lewis is also pleased to welcome back Yesim Ulutas and Charanjit Dhami as Mental Health Consultants, who both carried out their training contracts at Duncan Lewis. Yesim began her training contract at Duncan Lewis in mental health. She then went on to do welfare benefits and criminal law and completed her training contract in January 2010. Charanjit began her training contract in housing law and then moved to community care and her final seat was in mental health law, which she completed in March 2010. Post qualifying both left Duncan Lewis and carried on building up their experience in Mental Health Law. Duncan Lewis, Both Yesim and Charanjit have attained the Law Society’s Mental Health Law Panel Membership accreditation. They are both returning to the firm as Mental Health Consultants at the firms New Cross Gate office.
