Duncan Lewis raise almost £2,000 for Cancer Research in Race for Life (26 June 2011)

As promised after last years experience last years Duncan Lewis Race for life runners; Laila Bhunnoo, Jemma Garside, Dounia Arstim, Kohitoor Alam, Nathalie Lee-Kong, Sophie Burchett, Emily Wright and Atiqa Khan all participated in the Race for Life. The girls opted for a change of scenery this year and chose Hyde Park. Cancer Research holds races up and down the country on different days encouraging as many people to be involved whether racing, jogging or walking.
Most of the Duncan Lewis team in memory of people who we had lost to cancer and it was heart-warming to see so many people who had made such an effort - there were over 17,000 ladies running - some on stilts, angel wings and other fantastic fancy dress outfits; all running for a brilliant cause, cancer research.
Duncan Lewis raised just under £2,000 this year for Cancer Research, and plan on making this a regular annual event despite running in rainy conditions this year.
