With 63% of the workforce being female, 14% over the age of 45 years, 38% from an Asian/Asian British background and 20% from other ethnic minority groups*, Duncan Lewis is a national law firm which continues to embraces its equality, diversity and inclusion.

A 2017 Equality and Diversity survey of over half of the company’s workforce also reported that 41% of those in higher positions; Director (Partner-Level) or Managerial Level at Duncan Lewis, were from ethnic minorities and 56% were female.

Duncan Lewis embraces young talent and puts an emphasis on training and development in their staff. As a result of Duncan Lewis’ commitment to assisting and supporting young people with their careers, the survey reported that 10% of the firm’s staff that took part in the survey were aged between 16 and 24 years, with 42% between the ages of 25 and 34 years. As part of our role in improving social inclusion and access to the legal profession, we offer voluntary work experience which is evidenced in our offering of 40+ work placements during 2016 and raising aspirations of young people in the local community by supporting National Citizen Service.
