Legal 500 and Chambers recommended law firm Duncan Lewis Solicitors are pleased to announce that they have been shortlisted for the Solicitors Journal Legal Aid Team of the Year Award. The awards, which were inaugurated to celebrate the 160th year of the legal publication Solicitors Journal, were established to “recognising brilliance in a changing legal world”.

The Solicitors Journal have culminated a shortlist for the Legal Aid Team of the Year Award consisting of the best legal firms in the UK committed to providing publicly-funded legal services to the most vulnerable members of society despite the continuing reduction in funding and resources. The winners of the award will be announced at a black tie gala dinner and awards ceremony, taking place at The Grand Connaught Rooms, London on Wednesday 25 May 2016.

Despite ongoing cuts to Legal Aid, Duncan Lewis remains the largest civil Legal Aid provider in the UK and continues to thrive as a nationwide provider of Legal Aid services to society’s most vulnerable.
