Juliet joined Duncan Lewis Mental Health team in 2010 as a Consultant Solicitor.
Juliet is well practised in all aspects of mental health law and has been representing clients since 2002. She trained under the supervision of the Chairman of the Mental Health Lawyers Association working initially as a paralegal then progressed to become a qualified solicitor. Juliet qualified as a Solicitor in 2009 and has been a member of the Law Society Mental Health Review Tribunal Panel since 2004 (Only legal representatives who meet the Law Society's exacting accreditation requirements are permitted to join the panel). She is also a member of the Mental Health Lawyers Association. Since being in legal practice, she has mainly worked with mentally disordered detained clients some of whom have committed a wide range of criminal offences. Juliet also works with individuals discharged under community treatment orders. Juliet is a dedicated advocate with a passion and commitment to ensuring that her clients receive the full support and protection they are entitled to under the law.
Juliet has also help set up a mental health department in a law firm and given talks on mental health matters to service providers and users.
